Product innovation at Autogrill:
Our product managers define and develop recipes in the laboratory, based on briefs compiled and worked out in collaboration with different departments, using the valuable links which exist between purchasing, quality and marketing.
Then these recipes are tested by experts to check the flavour and quality aspects.
The product manager must also guarantee the manufacturing process using his experience and expertise at ground level. Then he must also provide support for staff training, by supplying sufficient information (information sheets, photos, CDs etc...) - because tomorrow the teams at the points of sale will have to create these recipes for our customers.
